There’s not a lot to do when you need to stay away from people and social distance.

My family loves going to the movies.

Luckily, Wellington and West Palm Beach have brought back drive-in movie night every weekend.

In this blog post, I will share what’s happening in West Palm Beach, Wellington, Boca Raton, and Coral Springs.

If you know of other cities having drive-in movie nights, please let me know in the comments so I can add them to the list.

$10 West Palm Beach Drive-In Movie Nights

Saturday, September 5th

  • Jumanji at Dreher Park

Saturday, September 12th

  • Hook at Currie Park

Saturday, September 19th

  • Monsters Inc. at Dreher

Saturday, September 26th

  • Moana at Currie

West Palm Beach Drive-In Movie

Gates open at 6 pm and the movie starts at 7 pm.

General admission tickets are $10 per vehicle or $30 for VIP.

The VIP option includes close parking popcorn for a family of four, non-alcoholic beverages, and candy delivered directly to your vehicle.

Blankets and chairs are encouraged and are the only things allowed outside of the vehicle.

Facial coverings and social distancing will be enforced when using the restroom.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and you can do that by visiting the city’s website here.

FREE Wellington Drive-In Movie Night

Friday, September 4th & Saturday, September 5th  

  • Spies in Disguise (PG)

Wellington Drive-In Movie

Gates open at 7:30 pm and the movie starts ay 8:00 pm at the Wellington Green Park, 2175 Wellington Green Drive.

The movie is free, but you need to reserve your space here.

Due to social distancing guidelines, guests are asked to remain in their vehicles for the duration of the movie.

Porta-potties will be available on-site, please wear a mask and observe all social distancing guidelines if using the available facilities.

Please note the following if you’re seeing a movie in Wellington:

  • No concessions will be available onsite, please bring your own snacks and drinks
  • Please bring your own small bag for trash to dispose of at home
  • No alcohol
  • No smoking
  • No pets
  • Turn off headlights and running lights

$20 Boca Raton Drive-In Movie Night

Wednesday, September 9th

  • Knives Out (PG-13)

Boca Raton Drive-In Movie

Gates open at 7:00 pm and the movie starts at 8:00 pm at 5000 T-Rex Avenue.

Food trucks will be on site.

FREE Coral Springs Drive-In Movie Night

Saturday, September 12th

  • Wreck-It Ralph (PG)

Coral Springs Drive-In Movie

Gates open at 6:30 pm and the movie starts at 8:00 pm at Tom Messenheimer Special Event Field in the Sportsplex at 2575 Sportsplex Drive.

The movie is free, but you need to reserve your space here.

Concessions will be available onsite.

Coral Springs residents will be able to order from their car through a touchless system; credit cards only.

Snacks ordered will be delivered to the vehicle.

All cars must enter the event space from Royal Palm Drive.

The movie audio will be broadcasted through an FM Radio station, which will be provided upon entry.

A portion of the proceeds will go to Give Where You Live, a financial assistance program coordinated by the Coral Springs Community Chest, a 501c3.
