French Toast Casserole

Because I could eat anything and everything breakfast all the time, I made french toast casserole for dinner. It was too good not share. And I’m going to make it super easy for you – in three, easy¬†steps:

1. Cut the bread. (I also cut the crusts off.) An entire loaf should serve about six people.

french-toast-casserole-bread2. Mix the ingredients to pour over the bread in a baking dish:

  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp of cinnamon


3. After refrigerating the soaked bread in a baking dish (anywhere from one hour to overnight) bake it in the oven at 450 degrees for 20-25 minutes.


Bonus: Add nuts or fruit to jazz this up!
